Zubair Enterprises Development Center ZEDC participated in the Training Fair 2023 organized by Sohar University in Al Batinah north governorate. The 3-day event witnessed participation of 25 governmental and private institutions.
This participation come as a part of the Centre’s strategy to raise awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship in various governorates and regions of the Sultanate. The center’s participation came within worksheet entitled” the importance of the innovation factor in creating a productive entrepreneurial environment and system”. It was presented on behalf of the center By Rawan Saif Al-Kiyoumiya, a business analyst, and Thuraya Majed Al-Mahrouqi, a business associate. The worksheet had a positive interaction from the audience, Questions and queries were asked and all the asked questions were answered.
About this participation, Thuraya Al Mahrouqi said: ” Zubair Enterprises Development Center pays a great interest to geographical diversity in delivering its services and this participation is a good sign for that .” she also added that ” the center`s participation was a valuable chance to know Sohar university graduate students` ideas and instruct them about the importance of entrepreneurship and the possibility of establishing successful business projects. We would like to thanks Sohar University for giving us the chance to participate in this fair and present a worksheet. In the future, we will seek to strengthen this joint work to serve entrepreneurs and students of Sohar University.
Professor Hamza Idris, Vice President for Academic Affairs of Sohar University, expressed his thanks for Zubair Enterprises Development Center for its participation in this Fair, stressing that this Fair was able to achieve its desired objectives , the most important of which is preparing graduate students to enter the labor market, in addition to exchanging experiences and knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation between the participating entities and enhancing joint work between the public and private sectors with the academic sector.
The fair that was held under the auspices of Mr. Khalid bin Saif Al Meqbali, Assistant Director-General in charge of the Director-General’s work in the Directorate-general North Al Batinah Governorate to present many worksheets and training workshops, in which a number of experts and academics from various institutions participated.
Zubair Enterprises Development Center is one of the initiatives of the Zubair Corporation in the field of social responsibility, which runs many specialized programs in the field of entrepreneurship. It also works as a consulting center.
The center is keen to build strategic relationships with a number of its strategic partners from the public and private sectors and the academic sector in order to support entrepreneurship in the Sultanate.
