INVITATION TO
The Announcement of the 5th Round of The Direct Support Programme
You are cordially invited to the official announcement event of the 5th Round of The Direct Support Programme by Zubair SEC on Wednesday 18 October 2017 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at Bait Al Zubair in Muscat.
After more than four years since its establishment, Zubair SECtogether with The Zubair Corporation renew their commitment towards supporting small enterprises in the Sultanate by launching the 5th round of this flagship programme.
The Direct Support Programme is designed to reward members of Zubair SEC who have proven commitment to the success of their businesses and have applied sincerely the guidance and advice offered to them by Zubair SEC team. Their projects would have also reflected solid strategic planning, thorough feasibility studies, and attention for applying best business administration standards. Selected members for the programme will be receiving further direct advisory services, in addition to a financial grant, and business development opportunity through the network and ecosystem of Zubair SEC.
Throughout the past four rounds, 38 members have been selected in total to benefit from the Programme. Directly after announcing the 5th round on 18 October 2018 the Centre will start receiving applications from current and new members to join the programme. In the months to follow, thorough assessment processes will be in place and selected members for the 2018 round will be announced in February 2018.

About the workshop
This ideation workshop aims to encourage you to learn to apply 5 practical tools to your business, and to develop new business opportunities in the tourism sector of the Sultanate of Oman.
By bringing together more than 50 entrepreneurs interested in working in or accelerating growth in the tourism sector, the workshop promises to be a great opportunity for getting hands-on experience in ideation and networking with fellow entrepreneurs in the Sultanate of Oman.
Workshop ideation process
The main facilitators of the workshop are Mr Hendrik Halbe (founder Get in the Ring) and Mr Martin Luxemburg (director Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship).

As part of a range of events to celebrate the launch of the research project SME Ecosystem in the Sultanate of Oman: Sensing and Seizing Opportunities in the Tourism Industry, you are invited to register for an all-day Ideation workshop on 3 October 2017. After more than three years since its establishment, Zubair SECtogether with The Zubair Corporation renew their commitment towards supporting small enterprises in the Sultanate by launching the 4th round of this flagship programme.

Zubair SEC will be holding during the month of Ramadan special evening gatherings through which we will be discussing topics and matters of interest to SMEs and relevant business stakeholders.
