Zubair SEC organises motivational seminar titled “Stop Procrastinating and Be An Entrepreneur”

Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC) organised a motivational seminar titled “Stop Procrastinating and Be An Entrepreneur” by Stefano Virgilli, a volunteering specialised advisor at Zubair SEC.

At the seminar, Virgilli highlighted strategies that entrepreneurs can focus on to move forward with their businesses. Virgilli, who is a serial entrepreneur with experience in Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa, has been exploring business, communication and innovation for the past 20 years.

Advising entrepreneurs to avoid procrastination through willpower, Virgilli also said that it is important for young business men and women to recognise the causes of procrastination and then work on effective plans to deal with it.

Urging attendees at the seminar to take charge of their business success, he Virgilli offered tips to help new entrepreneurs better manage their time, peruse clear objectives, and grow with ambition. He advised start-up owners to define their priorities, cultivate a sense of urgency, and capitalize on their areas of strength.

The session introduced important points for SME owners to consider to ensure success of their businesses. The seminar also provided guidelines and insight; the speaker shared international success stories. He also shed light on the important traits that make a successful entrepreneur, regardless of the businesses entrepreneurs undertakes.

Audience who were very engaged and tuned during the interactive session felt that the seminar was highly practical and encouraging.

Emphasising that the seminar delivered tools and practices to avoid procrastination, another attendee said, “The techniques suggested will help young business men and women turn their vision into reality.”
