In collaboration with Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC), Oasis Logistics launched its first Biladi Mart Wholesale shop located in Bidiyah to be owned and run by Zubair SEC member, Naser Said Mohammed Al Hajri, who is a partner at Modern Nature World. Al Hajri is among the winners of the 2016 edition of Zubair SEC’s Direct Support Programme.
The Biladi Mart wholesale shop was inaugurated by Hani Muhammad Al Zubair, board member of The Zubair Corporation and chairman of Zubair Automotive Group. It was also attended by important local community members, management executives from The Zubair Corporation, Oasis Logistics, and Zubair SEC.
Biladi Mart is dedicated to sell wholesale FMCG products of Oasis Logistics, a Zubair group company focusing on the distribution of a gamut of branded FMCG products both in food and non-food categories. Oasis Logistics established a wide distribution network with depots at Muscat, Batinah, Dhofar, Sharqiyah and Dakhliyah regions.
As per the business development plan of Zubair SEC and Oasis Logistics, the concept of Biladi Mart will be used to launch similar wholesale shops. Oasis Logistics has committed to extend this opportunity to Omani small enterprise owners as part of Zubair SEC’s yearly Direct Support Programme.
The business model, feasibility study, designing, structuring, branding, and implementation of the Biladi Mart wholesale shop has been executed by Zubair SEC in collaboration with Oasis Logistics and Modern Nature World following the announcement of the winners of this opportunity in February 2016.
