Zubair SEC member Muaawana launches its business service units

Date: August 15, 2016

In collaboration with Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC), newly established business enterprise Muaawana officially introduced its fleet of maintenance service vehicles. Muaawana’s fleet of vehicles were launched by Khalid Muhammad Al Zubair, Managing Director of The Zubair Corporation at an event which was also attended by management executives from The Zubair Corporation and Zubair SEC.

Muaawana is a small business enterprise established by Ali Said Abdullah Al Rashdi, a member of Zubair SEC, who is among the winners of the Centre’s Direct Support Programme for 2016.

Muaawana specialises in providing high quality maintenance services for different facilities including residential and commercial buildings. Working with a proactive approach, Muaawana is known for its prompt response and professionalism. The company uses its fleet of vehicles to reach clients’ premises upon request.

The launch event comes as an endorsement by Zubair SEC, a social responsibility initiative of The Zubair Corporation, for the remarkable performance put up by Muaawana, under the supervision of its owner Ali Said Al Rashdi, since its establishment.

Commending the owner for his efforts, Khalid Al Zubair said, “We feel encouraged and delighted by the achievements of such young entrepreneurs who introduce innovative services to the market. We recognise that they have been keenly putting all efforts to achieve credibility in the market and attain customer satisfaction. We believe that with the right guidance and due endorsement such start-up owners have a very good chance to grow their businesses to greater heights.”

Acknowledging The Zubair Corporation and Zubair SEC’s encouragement and support, Ali Al Rashdi said, “I believe that the Omani market has adequate space for many small businesses to grow and flourish, provided they deliver top quality and highly competent services. At Muaawana, we always strive to maintain and excel at being through professionals. As we put our customers’ satisfaction at the top of our priorities, endorsement of large organisations such as The Zubair Corporation adds to our credential.”

As part of its main endeavour, Zubair SEC has been very active in steering business development opportunities for its members while empowering them to be equipped to face the market expectations.

Earlier in February this year, Zubair SEC had facilitated a services contract between Muaawana and INMA real estate development company – one of The Zubair Group companies – as part of the business development support efforts of Zubair SEC towards its members.

Zubair SEC has facilitated similar business development opportunities for its members in the past. It strongly believes that development and success of small and medium enterprise sector depends on the support large organisations provide to SMEs.
