Zubair SEC Member Launches New Business

Date: November 8, 2021

In line with its commitment towards enhancing the presence of its members, Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC) announced the launch of a new business INVARE. Spearheaded by Majid Al Battashi, a Zubair SEC member since 2016, the company’s services are focused on targeting small and large factories and workshops through the provision of technical, mechanical and electrical maintenance, specifically for heavy equipment and machinery.

Commenting on the launch of INVARE, Majid stated, “I believe that there is a significant disparity in the market, especially when it comes to the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery. This is even truer when the original warranty has expired because the warranty period is insufficient in most cases. To be able to bridge this gap, INVARE was formed to understand the issues and challenges by such factories and workshops.”

INVARE was established after Majid successfully exited from his first start-up business in the waste management and recycling field. By following his aspiration and passion for industrial innovations and solutions, he successfully laid the foundation of his new business with the support of Zubair SEC.

Furthermore, INVARE would be working on research and development to building its own new concepts and prototypes for a few new industrial tools, equipment and machines. This is aimed at solving common issues faced among manufacturers and industrial workshops.

Ali Shaker Advisor Business Development & Strategic partnerships from Zubair SEC, said, “Zubair SEC is always keen on encouraging and working together with entrepreneurs like Majid and be a part of their success stories. As a Zubair SEC member for over 5 years, he has shown an admirable track record from his previous company and has showcased dedication and commitment to his ideas. We continuously strive to partner and support upcoming entrepreneurs and look forward to enhancing this fruitful partnership. On behalf of Zubair SEC, I wish him the best of luck in his endeavours.”

“I would like to thank Zubair SEC for their confidence and encouragement to allow me to capitalise on my passions. I believe that we can collectively work towards enhancing the future for our nation by empowering and paving the way for other small and medium business enterprises,” Majid added.
