Facilitated by Zubair Small Enterprises Centre (Zubair SEC), Zubair Automotive Group LLC has signed a transportation services contract with Zubair SEC member Abdullah Al Saadi, founder of Al Salam Logistics Transportation.
Zubair SEC, a social responsibility initiative of The Zubair Corporation (Z-Corp) has been underlining the importance of supporting small enterprises in securing business opportunities through multiple efforts and endeavours.
The agreement was signed by Manoj Ranade, General Manager, General Automotive Company (GAC), Zubair Automotive Group and Abdullah Al Saadi, Founder of Al Salam Logistics Transportation; signing was attended by executive management from The Zubair Corporation and Zubair SEC.
As per the agreement, Al Salam Logistics Transportation will provide Zubair Automotive Group with car carrier/ low bed trailer services along with drivers to transport GAC vehicles from Sohar port to its stock yard at Naseem and Buraimi.
As part of the Centre’s efforts to help its members explore business opportunities, Zubair SEC has facilitated a number of such opportunities for its members in the past few years, especially with companies within The Zubair Group, including Zubair Electric, INMAA (or is INMA), Zubair International Heavy Equipment, and others.
Appreciating Zubair SEC’s efforts in enabling the deal, Abdullah Al Saadi said, “I am grateful to Zubair SEC for instilling confidence in entrepreneurs and providing all possible encouragement. The Centre has been promoting an entrepreneurial mind-set amongst young Omanis.
