Muscat, Date: As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting digital learning, the Zubair Enterprises Development Centre (Zubair EDC) has launched an impactful initiative to establish a fully equipped computer lab at Janayen Al Hamra Private School in Al Hamra. The school, founded by entrepreneur Kadhia Al Nabhani—an active participant in the Centre’s Direct Support Program—benefits directly from this collaborative effort.
This initiative is designed to empower students from the earliest stages, including kindergarten, by introducing them to digital tools and technology-enhanced learning. By providing access to modern educational resources, the initiative seeks to develop essential digital competencies in students from a young age and prepare them for the evolving demands of the digital era.
The Centre emphasised that this project aligns with its broader vision to support entrepreneurs across sectors, particularly in education, by driving sustainable, community-focused initiatives that deliver measurable local impact. The establishment of the computer lab exemplifies how entrepreneurship can serve as a catalyst for social development—fostering both individual growth and long-term community benefits.
Commenting on the initiative, Hilal Al Siyabi, Group Head of Corporate Services at The Zubair Corporation, stated, “At The Zubair Corporation, we firmly believe that access to digital education should not be limited by geography. This initiative reflects our wider commitment to strengthening community institutions and supporting educational advancement. It also highlights the power of collaboration across our subsidiaries—INMA LLC facilitated logistics, Oman Computer Services LLC handled installation and equipment, and The Zubair Corporation provided the classroom furniture.”
He added, “Through this initiative, we are proud to have contributed to creating a comprehensive learning environment that empowers the children of Janayen Al Hamra School to grow, explore, and reach their full potential.”
Ali Shaker, Head of ESG and Sustainability at The Zubair Corporation, also remarked, “Our support for entrepreneurs in the education sector stems from our belief that sustainable development begins with education. By backing Kadhia Al Nabhani’s efforts, we’re helping to build a modern learning space that serves the aspirations of the region’s youth—furthering our mission to enable socially impactful projects.”
Expressing her appreciation, Kadhia Al Nabhani, Founder and Principal of Janayen Al Hamra Private School, said, “We are deeply grateful for this partnership, which strengthens our mission to provide quality, future-focused education for the children of Al Hamra. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see our students gaining access to tools that will shape their futures. I sincerely thank The Zubair Corporation, Zubair EDC, and the supporting affiliates for believing in our vision and helping turn it into reality.”
The Zubair Enterprise Development Centre is a flagship initiative under The Zubair Corporation’s strategic social responsibility agenda.
