Smart Technologies Company, ‘Smartech’, owned by Abdulaziz Saleh Al Maawali, one of the members of the Zubair Enterprises Development Centre (Zubair EDC), recently launched its new product, Menutree, which comprises a menu of restaurants and e-cafes. Smartech specialises in providing the retail sector with a range of technical products and digital solutions.
Abdulaziz Al Maawali, owner of ‘Smartech’, expressed his delight at the launch of ‘Menutree’, considered to be the first of its kind in the Sultanate. It allows customers of restaurants and cafes to choose their meals by scanning a barcode or entering an electronic link and selecting from a menu and a place of delivery or pickup options from the relevant restaurant. It also provides the option for customers to choose to the table at the restaurant.
After the customer has completed their order, the restaurant owner receives a notification of approval, which then allows customers to pay electronically through the application. The program will contribute toward the shift from traditional means of transactions to more digital-based ones, saving effort and money, while enhancing quick and quality services. It will also support efforts to increase sales and commercial offers by providing outreach to the largest possible segment of society. Additionally, the new solution enables customers to download the platform for free and digitally obtain meals and product menus., This further allows them to choose the products they want, how they would like to receive it and pay electronically, without having to wait for long time in front of the restaurant.
