Zubair Enterprises Development Centre “Zubair EDC” recently signed an MoU with Al Zahra College for Women to empower, inspire and motivate aspiring women entrepreneurs in Oman via strategies designed to facilitate and foster the same. The MoU was signed by Dr. Musalam Ali Al Ma’ani, Dean of Al Zahra College and Said Al Sahib, Director of Zubair EDC.
Speaking about the MoU signed between Zubair EDC and Al Zahra College, Mr Said Al Sahib, Director of Zubair EDC said, “We believe that students at this age and level have great potential to become successful entrepreneurs, especially if the right ecosystem has been provided, such as workshops, awareness, R&D and incubation, as a part of their journey at college level. This is where Al Zahra College and Zubair EDC joins hands to establish the right entrepreneurial infrastructure for the students. With the signing of this MoU, we look forward to the creation of the right entrepreneurial environment at Al Zahra College, which will in turn help mould and motivate Oman’s future women entrepreneurs.”
Dr. Musalam Ali Al Ma’ani, Dean of Al Zahra College said, “We are pleased to sign this MoU today with Zubair EDC, and as part of ZCW endeavors to empower its students to become future businesswomen in Oman, we are certain that our students shall benefit from the Centre’s expertise in guiding entrepreneurs and standing with them for the success of their businesses will bring. We, at ZCW, attach paramount importance to entrepreneurship, because we are convinced that Omani women have the capabilities to be successful businesswomen.” Zubair’s EDC vision reflects the importance of small and medium enterprises in enhancing the national economy and contributing to sustainable socio-economic development. Zubair EDC’s Direct Support Programme rewards individuals who prove through their work with the Centre, their commitment towards success and their dedication in applying the consultancy and advice provided to them by the Zubair EDC team.
