Showcasing the importance of Digital Transformation for SMEs
The Zubair Enterprises Development Centre (Zubair EDC) recently showcased its expertise at COMEX 2023 with a panel discussion entitled Transforming Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applications in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The session, falling under the Tajribati initiative, was held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center saw the participation of entrepreneur Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Ma’awali, the founder of SMARTECH and an esteemed member of Zubair EDC along with Ali Shaker, the Head of Business Development and Partnerships.
The session dealt with several technical subjects, where administrative, financial, risk management and marketing aspects of digital transformation were discussed, in addition to communication with customers along with the role of e-commerce in the digital transformation process. Additionally, under discourse, was the application of AI to automate operations to improve efficiency and enhance customer service as well as the use of AI-powered Chatbots or Virtual Assistants. This steered the discussion towards understanding customer behaviour and market trends that improve decision-making processes based on data-based predictive analysis and forecasting.
